We strive to protect your privacy when you are added as a member of our Tenant Engagement or otherwise use our digital services. Kiinteistö Oy Jyväskylän Seppä (Company No. 2647398-1) is the Data Controller for the personal data you provide, and we store and process personal data according to Personal Data Acts and Regulations. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
Lawfulness of processing
We process your personal data when you are added as a contact in our Tenant Engagement.
The purpose of Tenant Engagement is to enable the data controller to communicate with its tenants and its employees. It is necessary to follow up obligations under the lease agreement and to provide information to the tenants and its employees. The legitimate interest is to take care of the tenancy and communicate with the tenants in the tenancy.
Our privacy policy describes how we process your personal data and what your rights are as a registered member. The content of our privacy policy may be changed, and changes will be published on our website or in our mobile applications. We will notify you in case of significant changes.
You may at any time request to be removed from Tenant Engagement and that data about you will be deleted.
Placewise AS is responsible for the technical solutions for data processing. Placewise AS is one of our partners and Data Processors. Placewise AS has a Data Protection Officer, whom you may contact by sending an e-mail to privacy@placewise.com. Placewise AS uses sub-contractors for storing data and technical solutions for sending SMS and emails.
Our Data Processors handle your personal data in accordance with our instructions. We require our data processors to ensure necessary measures in order to handle your personal data in a secure manner, including not sharing your data with other parties without your consent.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect personal data regarding your membership in our Loyalty Club and when you use our other digital services. Collected data may include:

- name,
- email address,
- any other data you provide
You are responsible for correcting any errors or incorrect data stored with your mobile number.
We only collect the personal data we consider to be necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing, and we aim to make sure the data is up to date and correct.
What is the data used for?
The purpose of processing the personal data we register about you is primarily to enable the shopping mall to communicate with its tenants and its employees. It is necessary to follow up obligations under the tenancy agreement and to provide information to the tenants and its employees. The legitimate interest is to take care of the tenancy and communicate with the tenants in the tenancy. The shopping center has a need to inform the tenants and its employees about incidents.

For how long is your personal data stored?
Your personal data is only stored as long as it is required for us to provide our services to you, or as defined by law. As long as your membership exists your registered data will be kept. When you opt-out of the Loyalty club, your personal data will be deleted.
Anonymized data (which cannot be connected to you as an individual, and hence is no longer personal data) may be kept for statistical purposes.
What are your rights?
As a member of our Loyalty Club, you have the following rights according to the Personal Data Act/Regulation:
- Right to access - you have the right to access the personal information we process concerning you
- Right to rectification - you have the right to obtain rectification of any inaccurate personal data concerning you without undue delay
- Right to be forgotten - you have the right to demand that all personal data concerning you is erased
- Right to restriction of processing - you have the right to demand that we stop processing of your personal data
- Right to data portability - you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a commonly used machine-readable format
- Right to withdraw consent(s) - you may at any time withdraw your consent given for processing your personal data and using the data for marketing purposes, partially or in full
- Right to lodge a complaint - you have the right to lodge a complaint regarding our processing of your personal data to the supervisory authorities. In Finland this is Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, and contact information may be found on their website.
- Right to information in case of a personal data breach - if a personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of our members, you will be notified.
